Hermit crabs are plentiful on the reefs in Indonesia. However, it's always fun so come across the funky bunch which decorate their shell homes. Either for camouflage or protection, some crustacean called decorator crabs will cover their bodies with living organisms from the reef to better blend in. Here, the hermit crab has put multiple anemone on the outside of his shell, most likely for better protection.
